User:Spica/Apologies to TK
I'm sorry to create a whole new page, but I think this needs it. Due to many past grievances, misunderstandings, etc, TK, I think, never got a fair shot here. I certainly fucked up a bit myself. It could be argued that he hasn't helped himself sometimes, but tough shit, we should all have thicker skins. I would like to apologize, and try to re-welcome TK.--PalMD-yada yada 21:28, 3 June 2007 (CDT)
- I echo that sentiment. And, seeing as I do have evidence that he's a nice guy, really - and yes, I mean to the Cabal - I think he deserves another chance. ----Linus(plot evil tech) 21:33, 3 June 2007 (CDT)
- Every time I've spoken to him in private he has been a gentleman. I think when he gets what one might consider publicly humiliated or insulted he lashes out, as most would. Maybe we could convince folks that if they have vitriol to spew, they email him rather than post it. I am the first to admit I have sinned.--PalMD-yada yada 21:38, 3 June 2007 (CDT)
I join this group. He kindly apologized to me, and I've returned, but always good to say the same: sorry for putting you off to the site, and I'll welcome you back if you choose it.-AmesG 23:17, 3 June 2007 (CDT)
Meh. He's helping to keep Conservapedia the free-range idiot farm we all know and loathe, and I figure he deserves PLENTY of mockery for that. --Gulik 01:04, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
I have had no apology from TK of any sort. I made an open, fair, rational offer to end the issue between us and he couldn't even see it for what it was - a genuine olive branch. I admit that I am not wholly innocent; however, his behaviours and language towards myself and others here were, to say the least, completely un-christian. Having said that, I would not wish to close off any avenue of dialogue completely. I will state here publicly that if he chooses to return then I'll apologise for my behaviour (without having to justify anything to him), but only to him, and there won't be a massive debate about it if/when that happens. I don't really think I can say fairer than that, can I? Spica 06:21, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
- I'm with Spica. Everything I've said to TK here has been about his behaviour on RW, which has been shameful. But if he stops acting like an ass, I'll stop telling him he's acting like an ass. --Kels 06:33, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
Well, I still think that, despite his abrasive demeanor, he deserves apologies. After all, he's one guy, and there are a lot of us. Anyway, my 2 cents.--PalMD-yada yada 17:33, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
- My offer, as above, still stands. M. Spica the Hiver In Friendship & Co-Operation
