Zosimus is a rational philosopher and GMAT teacher. His contributions generally revolve around rationalism, and his edits generally involve breaches of accepted GMAT grammar. The following corrections will always be made on viewed pages:

  • "like" will be changed to "such as" unless the word "like" could be replaced by the words "similar to" with no loss of meaning.
  • "being" will be eliminated wherever possible (e.g., "accused of being irrational" -> "accused of irrationality").
  • GMAT-tested idioms such as not only x but also y will be corrected for form and parallelism.
  • "if" will be changed to "whether" unless a real conditional is at work.
  • which will be changed to that unless British spellings are found on the page.
  • Oxford commas will always be installed.
