I was wondering about the missionality of our state/country snarkticles. Move to Fun? Totnesmartin 21:19, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- I think it would be a shame. They might not be brilliant, but they've been part of the furniture for a long time. ₩€₳$€£ΘĪÐMethinks it is a Weasel 21:22, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- I did it as sort of a protest to the nuking of what could have been a very snarky Moscow article. Every once and a while, someone gets the mission bug up they're ass. — Unsigned, by: Neveruse513 / talk / contribs 21:24, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Deleting them all would be a real shame, I've learned learned a lot from the state articles (apparently George Washington slept around a lot), and Belgium is one of the most informative and best-written articles in RW. Totnesmartin 21:29, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Mission tag duly removed. ₩€₳$€£ΘĪÐMethinks it is a Weasel 21:52, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Boy, I missed all the excitement! I worked hard loading up all fifty of those quarters... and Squirrel has added a zillion tidbits about corrupt politicians and the like. One thing I never understood was that France got stuck in fun. That Moscow article wasn't much to look at, next time hopefully someone will write more and introduce some missions aspects? ħuman 00:46, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- So, move all countries and states now in Fun to Mainspace? Totnesmartin 10:50, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

- Martin, I'd say "move the ones that are good enough now". France probably started off awful/stubby in main and got moved. Last I saw it's got some meat on its bones (but I may not be remembering correctly). ħuman 20:20, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

So what's the plan?[edit]
Currently a handful of the original articles have been moved to funspace & replaced by one-line stubs in main, while most of the others are still in their original location. It's inconsistent. Either we keep all the state pages in mainspace, or put them all in fun. & We don't need more tiny stubs. We could keep mainspace redirects to the fun pages, or, if there's only a couple of mainspace-worthy comments on each state, we can put them all in one article on US geography & redirect each state name to there. - I like the idea of creating a single page. (Something like Internet law, with links added to non-stub articles?)--Кřěĵ (ṫåɬк) 03:24, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
