- Cool... will someone add up the score? human 21:03, 27 January 2008 (EST)
- I got Kerry 26, Bush 21. And if you count the ones mentioned in the note, it's Kerry 26, Bush 24. So I guess the term "almost entirely" must have been redefined to make his statement true. --BillOhannitygodvelocity. 21:12, 27 January 2008 (EST)
- I think I got 24 Bush, 29 Kerry (not including the noted omissions). "Almost entirely" must mean "about 50/50".--WJThomas 21:18, 27 January 2008 (EST)
- OK, I busted a move and got 30 Kerry, 24 (+3) Bush (I'll post a scan of my notes if anyone wants). I think this is an awesome chunk of data in so many ways. One, it deserves an article so it doesn't vanish into the wigo talk archives. Two, look how many major US cities are served by only one big newspaper!!! Surely Murdoch has a tabloid in San Francisco? Guess not, according to this list. Anyhoo, as I keep repeating, great work, WJThomas! Goatspeed! human 23:37, 27 January 2008 (EST)
- It doesn't really show liberal/conservative (since Bush is a bad conservative and Kerry is just bad) but it's interesting nonetheless. I want to see what happens when someone posts this (because you know it's going to happen eventually) and Andy gets his panties in a bunch. Lurker 23:41, 27 January 2008 (EST)
- He'll completely ignore the count of who supported Bush vs Kerry and come up with one of his "no one really doubts that the newspapers are liberal" statements. He's nothing if not predictable in his garbage arguments. --BillOhannitygodvelocity. 00:10, 28 January 2008 (EST)
- That'd be my guess, too. Still, anyone who wants to grab this data and rub Andy's nose in it has my blessing (I have no account there anymore).--WJThomas 07:09, 28 January 2008 (EST)
- I was going through his talk page contribs earlier today and I noticed he's been doing it a lot lately. Nobody seriously denies X, everyone agrees that Y. Erm really? Since when? Lurker 00:13, 28 January 2008 (EST)
