- Yay--Kingdamian1 (talk) 05:07, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- You sort of ruined it by calling us "wretched poor souls" but you can't have everything. Christopher (talk) 08:09, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- The problem is that while most of us consider ourselves as having souls, and some of us will consider ourselves to be (financially) poor very few of us RWians consider ourselves to be 'wretched.' 86.134.53.69 (talk) 08:48, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I know that I don't have a soul, the RationalWiki page on "soul" rightly dismisses the concept as nonsense. Do you believe in souls? Christopher (talk) 08:52, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I was deconstructing the phrase to describe 'the entityness that lurks in your brain and makes a running commentary on what is encountered and sometimes commits it to print' - which makes us Kingdamian1, Christopher, the person using this BoN or 'whoever else.' What term would you use Christopher? 86.134.53.69 (talk) 08:58, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think there is some "entityness [sic] that lurks in your brain", would you say there was an entity lurking in your computer making decisions? Why is the brain different? Christopher (talk) 09:01, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- On most occasions I can go to a PC I have never used before and it will behave as all other PCs (allowing for local quirks and shortcuts) - and on occasion the 'computer spell check/autocorrect/grammar check/programming' will rearrange what I do (with a seeming preference for 'that form which will cause most inconvenience).
- The nonce term entityness is meant to be a neutral term to describe the specific personality: would you, Christopher, agree that you are not the same as Kingdamian1, myself or 'anybody else whether on RW or not'? 86.134.53.69 (talk) 11:31, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- PCs act very similarly but what about Deep Blue vs a washing machine? They act very differently. And what does uniqueness have to do with souls? Christopher (talk) 11:45, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- Why did I ruin it?Kingdamian1 (talk) 13:50, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- We're not "wretched poor souls", we're human beings who don't believe in your magic skydaddy (your words). It's a bit patronising. Christopher (talk) 13:54, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I DO NOT BELIEVE IN A MAGIC SKY DADDY... that was the point of mentioning it... If you think of God as a mythical creature... I don't believe in it either.... But God is not a mythical creature...Kingdamian1 (talk) 14:14, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- Do you have any evidence that God isn't mythical? Specifically your God? C
hristopher (talk) 14:17, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- it's a malformed question. God is God. You do not believe in a concept of God, that is why you are an atheist. The closest I can get to answering this bad question is Jesus. Which we know existedKingdamian1 (talk) 14:20, 31 May 2017 (UTC)

Malformed questions, eh? Speak of the devil...
Regardless — I love you too, ya big lug. Get over here, you!
In time, you may even grow into the role of our new nobs. Lord knows the old one's been acting up lately. Dunno how many good years we still got left in it.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. To be perfectly frank — those are some big bible thumper clown shoes to fill.
But so far, you seem pretty 'out there' yourself — so please, accept my preliminary vote of confidence. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 14:28, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
