RationalWiki's 2020 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2021.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Forum:Anti-Vaccine people

To start,I have heard about California's new vaccine laws and I think those kind of laws should be in all states. I know people claim there are dangerous side effects but there is no evidence. If there is any it is probably due to the Placebo effect and not the vaccine itself. I am 100% sure you all have heard various excuses from anti-vax people such as- "Vaccines cause autism", "There is Mercury in vaccines" and so on. However the real risk is from the infectious diseases themselves and I know you all know that but I do not see how people against vaccines do not see that. Given that, even if vaccines caused autism I would rather see a child with autism than a dead child. The only way some one should be exempt is if someone had an allergy to its ingredients.

P.S- Do not worry I will limit the amount of posts I make. Sorry if it seems like I put up spam--Rationalzombie94 (talk) 02:17, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
