2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Forum:Question

I've been considering updating some of the pages on (for example) Survivalists with some of their common arguments, possibly with a researched response in case someone is in a position to debate one of these people, they can go in a little better armed. What I'm not sure about is:

  • Is this even allowed for a general article?
  • Would it be better if I created a separate page based on a group?
  • If I were to do this should I use forum posts as a reference?
  • Can I even do that?

I don't think this is a terribly difficult question, I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, or if there's some consensus on doing things like this.

Thank you. --Logic and Empricism (talk) 22:41, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
