Pretty much. I'm a masochist in a sense. I enjoy debating and trying to figure out the other side. At some points though, when the other side refuses to recognize reality, then it's no longer fun. I don't think we've quite reached there yet. We're making some progress IMHO. LiberalOfAnUnknownVariant (talk) 00:45, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Sometimes it's entertaining, other times not so much...

Damn, I think we're near the end. We've reached the conclusion. The other guy admitted that theology is faith based, but also thinks that it's not dismissible out of hand. This cannot end well... LiberalOfAnUnknownVariant (talk) 00:52, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- You're right on both accounts. It's faith-based--I've never said otherwise, so no big admission there--and it's not dismissible out of hand, because it's about people and the meaning they make in the world, which, as a confirmed lover of human beings, I cannot simply cast aside on the simple grounds that it does not fit into the frameworks of a largely Western rationality. That ends it well enough for me. JubalHarshaw (talk) 01:04, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- Probably better if we used the main page ... I'll post something there. LiberalOfAnUnknownVariant (talk) 01:12, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
