The United Kingdom is noted for its eccentrics - who go in for everything from 'creative Stonehenge-ology' and 'creative Shakespearianism' to food fads, lost royalty, strange politics and 'anything else.'
They may be peddling woo and other oddities but they are not dangerous.
Examples include
- Stanley Green - carried 'Proteins are bad for you' billboard along Oxford Street.
- Bill Boakes
- Most Shakespeare did not write Shakespeare proponents
