Hurricane Ida was a mixture of Hurricane Katrina and arguably Hurricane Sandy. Causing a bit of flooding in South America, it then struck Louisiana and caused catastrophic flash flooding near New York City, as proof of global warming.[1] The damage caused 95 American deaths, and $64 billion. Twenty also died in Venezuela.
