2022 Moderator Election[edit]
@Techpriest @Shabidoo Here's my first cut at compiling instructions for using the voting system. I'll be adding more over the next day or so. I had planned to use my old Macbook Pro for this election, but today its power supply died. So I tried on my new Macbook Air, and found out that there's no Python2 for Macs running on Apple hardware. I have a Windows 10 machine and was able to get the software up and running there. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 22:45, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, alright good. This is how I ran it for the Board last year too. We really should look into porting that script off of python2... -- Techpriest (talk) 20:58, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- The same thought came to me as well. I don't like the dependence on a deprecated language. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 21:06, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
