2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Elian Gonzalez. Um...thought I was the only one who noticed that, except the right-wingers. Rabbitxhampster (talk) 19:20, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

That's pretty unremarkable, especially given the two names are not even spelled the same way and are remarkable common in the Americas. BbMaj7 On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog. 19:26, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
It's Sort of like Joe Wilson the ambassador and Valerie Plame's husband having the same first and last name as Joe Wilson the Congressman to me, but they have both matching first and last names, while Gonzales and Elian have last names with a letter apart.
