Talk:Aurora (aircraft)

Is this really woo?[edit]

When I was growing up back in the Stone Age, you could buy assembly kits for models of stealth aircraft. When they were finally unveiled, I was impressed at how close the drawings and models were to the reality.

I suspect there is some nugget of truth in Aurora, but it does seem odd that decades later it still hasn't been acknowledged. If the thing exists/existed it will be old tech by now. Secret aircraft probably account for at least some percentage of UFO sightings.-Albannach (talk) 12:26, 5 August 2021 (UTC)

An actual Aurora aircraft[edit]

Sadly it isn't a black triangle. It's a conventional turboprop-powered marine patrol plane, the Lockheed CP-140 Aurora, used by the Canadian Armed Forces. Annoyingly when you try to look it up about half of Google's results are of the ostensible spy plane. — Unsigned, by: 74.12.93.159 / talk / contribs
