Ba'ath Party and Egypt[edit]
Just because Nasser was Pan-Arabic does not make him a Ba'athist, in fact his own distinct party was called Arab Socialist Union. Saddat and Mubarak, the two Egyptian presidents who came after Nasser, had their own distinct party called National Democratic Party. I changed the article accordingly. — Unsigned, by: Bill Rawls / talk / contribs
- That's right, Nasserism and Ba'athism are both kinds of pan-Arab nationalism but they are not the same thing and I think they were rivals.74.14.220.211 (talk) 09:44, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Killing of leftists[edit]
Murder of leftists seems to be bread and butter for fascist movements. Why should we expect the Ba'ath to be any different? Vee (talk) 22:51, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- The Baath is a progressive socialist movement, not "fascist". Shut the fuck up liberal. 2600:1004:B214:2EE:B191:2591:BEE9:D64E (talk) 23:11, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
