Talk:Bone broth
A neighbor[edit]
I have a neighbor who believes it helps healing a fractured bone. Anyone else run into this piece of woo? It might be a traditional Chinese medicine thing, since that's her main woo-source. ikanreed đBleat at me 16:21, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
- TCM is some serious horse shit. It's hard to find any of it that doesn't seem made up spontaneously. A few sources claim broth or bone marrow to be beneficial for the kidneys or for jing (life-force)... but a lot of English-language sources I can find which claim bone broth is endorsed by TCM seem to be selling me bone broth. Question[edit]
Are the people who promote the woo (as distinct from using the stuff for culinary purposes) boneheads? Anna Livia (talk) 08:54, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
