Talk:Civil Rights Act
My understanding guess of what the Civil Rights Cases actually are, has been in error, and this article and the Civil rights article both reflect that error. I will address that problem shortly in both places, as well as a Civil Rights Cases article that is on the wanted pages list, unless someone else wants to have at it.--Remarcsd 22:24, 14 October 2007 (EDT)
Civil Rights Act of 1965[edit]
The Intro says most important was the '64 Act. Actually, the '64 Act was rushed thru in an election year so Johnson could prove he was more of a friend of Civil Rights and more effective in getting legislation than the Kennedy's who did nothing in the 3 years prior. After the election and Johnson won a mandate, the Civil Rights Act of 1965 was much more far reaching and extensive than the '64 Act. nobs 16:25, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
