2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

AFD[edit]

Site doesn't seem particularly notable, plus the original article feels like a copypasta job since it had a bunch of line breaks that weren't necessary. Zero (talk) 12:40, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

It is notable as one of the major hubs of denialism. It even has an article on the TOW. It is primarily a pressure group rather than just a website. The actual article is written like shit, though. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 14:04, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Don't delete -- I will definitely give this a rewrite soon enough. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 14:21, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Removed delete template. I take it there are no objections. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 05:35, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
CFACT is behind http://www.climatedepot.com/ which is a hub for climate change denialism. Also, other funders, according to capital research centre include DaimlerChrysler Corporation, Ford, ExxonMobil and Chrysler, companies who have everything to gain from obfustication. http://web.archive.org/web/20050514135837/http://www.capitalresearch.org/search/orgdisplay.asp?Org=CCT100 http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Committee_for_a_Constructive_Tomorrow Should I add this to the wiki? I'd appreciate any suggestions with formatting, I'm new, did I write this correctly? Skinnytony1 (talk) 10:40, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
