2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

"Creation Today is a relatively new" what? TV show? Podcast? Brand of soda? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 21:52, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Intent[edit]

Just curious, is the intent to have every single book any creationist has written, reviewed and side-by-sided on RW? It seems sorta redundant (as the lies stay the same), but at the same time, maybe someone wants to know about some particular book.--Sun mowse.pngEn attendant Godot 22:03, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Of course not. While watching Kent Hovind's seminar on Lies and Textbooks, I learned that Eric started his own thing very recently, so I decided to make a quick article about it, then went back to work. Really, if anyone here thinks this article is a waste of time, or no one will add anything or find it worthy while, get rid of it. I am not going to watch every episode to point out all the lies. Well, it does fall under point 2 of the mission statement: "Documenting the full range of crank ideas." Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 22:42, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
Enough said. If it falls short, then it is not good enough. Feredir28 (talk) 22:46, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
I was't suggesting this wasn't good enough! besides, you are doing most of the work, so if you are willing, good for you!--Sun mowse.pngEn attendant Godot 23:27, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
