Quotes[edit]

Every single one of these needs a citeashun. Seriously. I suspect half of these are lies. ħumanUser talk:Human 06:52, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

And that site is not a "source". Just because these "quotes" are funny doesn't make them real. ħumanUser talk:Human 06:55, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Spuds[edit]

I thought he wrote potatoe on a chalkboard, and was corrected by a six year old child? Or has my mind spectacularly bent? --Scherben (talk) 18:23, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

@Scherben, It was a spelling bee. The kid spelled it correctly (12-year-old?) but the card or list Quayle had been given had it incorrectly spelled. I think Quayle actually conferred with somebody but, eventually, decided to trust the official card so prompted the kid to add a bit more. --Bertrc (talk) 14:55, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
Many thanks. That's memory for you. Imagine all the other things I'm miss-remembering in life... --Scherben (talk) 02:26, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
