And there can be dialect(ic) continua within a country - where does Southern BritEnglish 'us' and 'book' become Northern BritEnglish 'uz' and 'buuk'? (Watford Gap and the Danelaw are probably involved; Hadrian's Wall possibly.) 82.44.143.26 (talk) 16:23, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
