I see that we now have nostalgia and Good old days. I'd say that this one has the best title and the others should redirect to this.--BobSpring is sprung! 13:30, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

- I think they make a nice little clustrifuck of snarticles and would miss any two of them if they were gone. ħuman

- At least merge "good old days" with this one. There's probably a case for keeping nostalgia separate, if it can be about the concept & psychology of nostalgia, & appeals to nostalgia in politics etc., & this one can be about common examples of perceived "golden ages". Weaseloid

- I think the ga and god are different enough to stay distinct. Ga can be thousands or millions (!) of years ago, but god implies living people waxing nostalgic about a time they remember, or at least think they do. As I said, I think they are a sweet little triumclustate. Tome to make sure they all "see also" each other... ħuman

- But GA & GOD both cite the age of chivalry as an example. . . Weaseloid

Ages of Man and other myths[edit]
Hesiod wrote about a mythical "Golden Age", where humans used to live among the gods. Should we cover this in this article? I think we definitely should. I'm not sure about the Antediluvian Sumer, but I think we could also cover it. Hinduism also has its own golden age, Satya Yuga, but I know next to nothing about it, but if someone does, I think we should also cover it. What do you guys think? - Also, we may also cover some Renaissance humanism views, that definitely saw Classical antiquity as a golden age. GeeJayKWhere all evil dwells Where every lie is true 15:35, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
