2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

A link or sumthins to the bibly verses would be nice? ħumanUser talk:Human 04:59, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

OK, why do the verses load sometimes but not others? ħumanUser talk:Human 05:19, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
The verse only appears if all the parameters are in place and you have saved, it won't appear in diff and previews. - π 05:22, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Also we should have more on the Samaritans, especially seeing as they have a long standing beef with the Jews over them cribbing some of the bible off them. - π 05:23, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Lawrence of Arabia ref[edit]

That reference was perhaps a miscue... I seem to remember Lawrence being told that crossing a particular stretch of desert was suicidal folly, and replying that Moses did it. His advisor replied that "Moses was a prophet, beloved of God!" (but did not add "and you ain't Moses.")

looks like the reference was to the wrong prophet, sorry Sprocket J Cogswell 14:27, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Orphan[edit]

Apparently this is an orphan page but I cannot think of somewhere to link to it... do we have a list of parables or something? Scarlet A.pngnarchist 17:17, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

I only found one page to link from. The rest of the hits on "Samaritan" here were mostly WIGO entries. If someone thinks it is useful or appropriate to link from them as well, either say so right here, or go thou on my authoritah and do likewise. Sprocket J Cogswell 17:57, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
