Talk:Herbert W. Armstrong
Scored a copy[edit]
Scored a copy of The United States and Britain in Prophecy at the dump today. Thought I recognized the author's name fro recent edits here, and guess what?!
Choice gems: blurb on the back says "God will intervene to save mankind in this generation!" First copyright date is 1967, latest "renewal" is 2003. I guess we're talking generations of antediluvian proportions here...
Also, the book is "not to be sold", it's a "free educational service in the public interest". If I ever bother to read any of it I'll try to add something to the article. ħuman 20:51, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Would you believe that I've read that? Hell of a long time ago though. I seem to remember that he makes a big deal about "Possess the gates of your enemies"--BobNot Jim 21:27, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- He uses a lot of capital letters and exclamation points, I can tell that much already. ħuman

- Ah yes. Very short sentences too. It comes back to me now. British Israelism and the lost ten tribes I think.--BobNot Jim 22:03, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmm, yes. I read a few sentences, and it seems Britain lost her merchant marine and her empire because of something to do with Israel, and now the same thing is happening to the US. I may have some before dinner with my favorite dressing... ħuman
