Talk:Islam in the United States
Still need to clean this up, but it's at least got some of the info there. I must say, it is dang hard to find anything out about #'s regarding Muslims in the US. who knew.--WaitingforGodot 11:51, 24 July 2008 (EDT)
Opinion Polls of America's Muslims[edit]
This link: <http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/30/the-worlds-muslims-religion-politics-society-app-a/> is to an article summarizing the finds of a pew research poll among American Muslims. If this poll is in any way indicative of most Muslims in the US than I would go as far to say that American Muslims tend to be very progressive. Among other things it shows that majority of Muslims believe that many religions will lead you tp Heaven. As opposed to just 18% of there coreligionists around the globe. — Unsigned, by: 96.238.26.73 / talk / contribs 01:43, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- It would make sense; American Muslims tend to be better educated and integrated than Muslims elsewhere because it is difficult to get into America. Lord Aeonian (talk) 06:55, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
- A lot of native-born American Muslims happen to be African American. Many African American Muslims were brought here as slaves.--Owlman (talk) (mail) 07:13, 21 July 2016 (UTC) 07:13, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
