I read somewhere that Man was one of the last places in Europe (west of Russia) to abolish the death penalty: as the island was not specifically mentioned in the 1960s Act it was left xxxxing in limbo with the penalty being automatically commuted. 212.85.6.26 (talk) 18:06, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
