2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Should we add a section on the Scientific Studies segment?[edit]

I think John's scientific studies segment would be loved by the community. Should we post about it? (Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Rnq1NpHdmw). — Unsigned, by: AmericanExceptionalism2016 / talk / contribs AmericanExceptionalism2016 (talk) 06:38, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Yep. Great video. Herr FuzzyKatzenPotato (talk/stalk) 05:41, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

John Oliver bias[edit]

This is so biased to favour John Oliver, in such a way that his attacks on Christianity (not including the prosperity false prophets) are absent in this article. Christians who believe the Bible routinely get mocked by Oliver. Many of them would agree that his sex ed skit is TMI for teens. I think the article needs more balance to reflect his shortcomings. --LABcrab (talk) 21:42, 30 April 2019 (UTC)

For one he’a a comedian and this is normal for this site to criticize religion. I wouldn’t consider that a shortcoming. LurkingGnome (talk) 23:25, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
