That's hilarious. CP will tell their people in the trailer courts the precise procedure to manufacture their drug of choice, but search on the safest sex of all:

You searched for masturbation

There is no page titled "masturbation".

Entry point?[edit]

We are getting influx of search engine traffic for this article for the search term "methamphetamine recipe"

I am telling you we are this close to becoming the goto place for meth recipes on the internet. We get a sizable chunk of google traffic to this article. tmtoulouse 03:44, 14 January 2009 (EST)
Great. That's just great. ħumanUser talk:Human 14:27, 14 January 2009 (EST)
Wow, after reading the recipe, I'm horrified. Is this accurate? Who would put this substance into their body if they knew the toxic chemicals used? Radical viewpoint alert: I am all for free speech, and go as far as to say that any information that is known to mankind should be made available to all, no knowledge should be censored, but this makes me rethink the whole issue. I've always felt all knowledge should be freely available.. but then what about things that can harm people, bomb making info and so forth...? It's something to think about. Refugeetalk page 17:27, 7 February 2009 (EST)
If it makes people feel good, they tend not to care what's in it. Stupid stupid Phantom Hoover! 17:32, 7 February 2009 (EST)
It may be a good idea to vape this. --"CURtalk 17:37, 7 February 2009 (EST)
After Lurking around here for more than a year, I know how much everyone loves free speech... but does anyone think that people who use this article as an entry point care at all about the stated mission of RatWiki?? Or anything else, for that matter? Sightblinder 17:44, 7 February 2009 (EST)
I've put the deletion template up. CP took this down as soon as their administration was alerted to it. The only reason we're hosting it is to point out that CP did. But if it's bringing us traffic from people who might actually be using this recipe, we should probably rethink. WèàšèìòìďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 17:53, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Instead, perhaps we should merely say that Conservapedia had the recipe, and go into a detailed summary of its history. --"CURtalk 17:55, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Good points, everyone. Refugeetalk page 17:56, 7 February 2009 (EST)

I agree with deletion. There's no reason we should be hosting this. We could still make the point that CP hosted it, but we don't actually need to include the entire thing. Maybe we should hilarious it up? I'm going to try a little of that and you can all do your worst. DogP 18:04, 7 February 2009 (EST)

Um, chemist here. I'm seriously doubting this is a real methamphetamine recipe. Heavy water? Why in the world (and how in the world) would need that much heavy water? Cod liver oil? Really? There's nothing that makes me believe that cod liver oil has methamphetamine or a precursor in it. Sterilerationalize 18:19, 7 February 2009 (EST)
(EC) I assume you're joking: that was DogP's silly revision of it. I've made it even sillier. Ultimately, though, we should delete it. We can still link to the recipe in CP's revision history, which they haven't deleted, & wash our hands of any liability. WèàšèìòìďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 18:23, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Weasel changed it. Look at revision history. --"CURtalk 18:21, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Damn realtime editing. Yeah, the original does look like it could make meth. Sterilerationalize 18:25, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Same here. I'm not chemist, but it did sound like something that could make meth. --"CURtalk 18:29, 7 February 2009 (EST)
I don't care one way or another - a link to the history of it at CP in the meth article ought to be enough. Although, making a really funny version would be kinda cool. ħumanUser talk:Human 18:26, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Also, it appears pretty easy to find recipes on the 'net, it's not like we are releasing military secrets here. ħumanUser talk:Human 18:30, 7 February 2009 (EST)
ARE YOU CRAZY!? JUST SINCE IT CAN BE FOUND MEANS THAT WE SHOULD POST THAT INFORMATION HERE AND GIVE WEIGHT TO CONSERVAPEDIA'S RANTS ABOUT US?! --"CURtalk 18:31, 7 February 2009 (EST)
(Aside: isn't that the complete opposite of what you said on Alison's page an hour or so ago? - I.E. If it's easy to find, we can post it?) WèàšèìòìďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 18:38, 7 February 2009 (EST)
This is how to make an illegal drug. That was merely her real name, which she practically handed out. If the FDA handed out the recipe, there would be no major problem. --"CURtalk 18:40, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Caps aside, you can watch it made on a National Geographic episode. But it should be deleted. Sterilerationalize 18:32, 7 February 2009 (EST)
I agree with the deletion of this article because.... we are telling people how to make an illegal drug. If someone wants to go to CP for that, then... fine. I move that this should be ransacked, deleted, and forgotten. Javasca₧ hi there!
Actually, right now it is fairly harmless. We just need to delete the revisions showing actually how to make it, and we will point out that CP had it, and point out all the contradictions in what they did. --"CURtalk 18:35, 7 February 2009 (EST)

Deleted and recreated. Unless you restore the changes, it's gone. I guess a sysop could get the recipe. Sterilerationalize 18:37, 7 February 2009 (EST)

I still don't think we really need this. It was only put u[p as a temporary measure. If we keep it, it should be in Fun & detached from the mainspace Meth article. WèàšèìòìďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 18:40, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Delete away! I would like to see what our current recipe would make, though.... Sightblinder 18:45, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Do not take away my asiago! --"CURtalk 18:48, 7 February 2009 (EST)
Just get rid of the article already... ħumanUser talk:Human 18:54, 7 February 2009 (EST)
NO! GIVE ME BACK MY ASIAGO CHEESE! JUST A PIECE OF CHEESE! --"CURtalk 18:56, 7 February 2009 (EST)

Namespace change[edit]

I this is off Conservapedia it should be under Conservapedia:Methamphetamine with a spoof tag at the top. - User 18:54, 7 February 2009 (EST)
