I have almost a dozen links about the superhighway, but I'm feeling really lazy right now and can't work up the effort to incorporate them into the article. I'm putting them here if anyone else is interested.

Links debunking it:

In this case "almost a dozen" = "eleven". Which is most logical. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:18, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Too lazy to write about them—but not lazy enough to not count them : ) Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 03:23, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

What?[edit]

How is this different from the Pan-American Highway? Real first name and last initial (talk) 17:54, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

The route is different, I think the Paranoia Highway is to cross the US in a north-easterly direction from Mexico, connecting Mexican manufacturing etc. with major US cities along the way, eventually to the major eastern Canadian metro areas. ħumanUser talk:Human 21:35, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Yes, there is a “real” superhighway being built to run from Canada to Mexico. It will eventually run from Alberta Canada to three Mexican ports: Del Rio/Acuña, Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras and Laredo/Nuevo Laredo. Map:

The name of this “real” highway is called Ports-to-Plains http://www.portstoplains.com.
It is a real organization and is building a real highway, along with other goals & projects. Sections of existing U.S. Highways & interstates are currently or in planning to be widened and lanes added to accommodate the commercial trucking industry.
The Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 made the Ports-to-Plains Corridor a National Highway System "High-priority corridor" known as Corridor 38. The four federally designated High Priority Corridors on the National Highway System of the Ports-to-Plains Alliance are: 1) the above mentioned Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor (#38), 2) the Heartland Expressway (#14), 3) the Theodore Roosevelt Expressway (#58), and 4) a portion of the Camino Real (#27).
This superhighway has already been funded with over $1.2 billion federal dollars, plus state and local taxpayer money. See the official states’ websites like Colorado and Texas and go to their official transportation pages for more information. There are other online links taking you to news stories about government agencies already doing ribbon cutting ceremonies with US Congressmen opening real sections of widened and improved sections of roadways on this future International Superhighway Corridor now in the making. — Unsigned, by: DaveUS287 / talk / contribs
