2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

This isn't really something I think can or should be "fixed" but the claim that the version of the Christ narrative where the Jews are literally worshipping the Demiurge, basically Satan, is less anti-Semitic because one of the Jews involved in his death is seen as innocent seems, well, wrong. 98.117.50.70 (talk) 12:00, 21 April 2018 (UTC)

Having now read through a lot of these texts (And the Wikipedia pages), I also have to say that saying these texts claim Jesus was fully man and not necessarily anymore Son of God than anyone else is not remotely accurate either. Most of these works are Docetistic, and many are about Jesus only in the sense of a divinity, rather than a person. It's accurate to say it challenges the orthodox, but only in the exact opposite way to what the article suggests. 71.244.163.170 (talk) 01:34, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
