Second verse - case in point[edit]
case in point (refering to the jackaroo). Here's a hint, if you don't know the words and there's a camera pointing straight at you, do not just sing the first verse over again. Nice addition, 3.14something. -RedbackG'day 08:47, 29 December 2008 (EST)
And could RW repurpose the second verse of this as its mission statement? 82.44.143.26 (talk) 17:50, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
God Save[edit]
Self-appointed Flag-Noncer-General Andrew Rosindell MP demanded in November 2016 that the BBC revive the practice of playing “God Save The Queen” at closedown. Since BBC TV doesn’t actually close down overnight at all these days this was somewhat utterly nonsensical, but the wags on BBC2's current affairs show “Newsnight” gladly obliged, with a straight-faced Kirsty Wark announcing the fact before cutting to video of a pre-butter-selling J Rotten and his chums banging out their 1977 bestseller.
