2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

More links about the atheism thing[edit]

The link used by Proxima: http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/our-humanity-naturally/201310/why-oprahs-anti-atheist-bias-hurts-so-much - is notable because Dave Niose is the president of the American Humanist Association.

And many, many more. Coverage has reached even The Blaze. :(

Oh, and the Boston Atheists want something: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2013/10/16/boston-atheists-tell-oprah-to-stop-relabeling-atheists/ --ZooGuard (talk) 14:21, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing that mess up. I don't know a lot about Winfrey, as I have never watched her show, and I have totally abandoned following US-American debates about religion and atheism and public life, so I had nothing positive to add to the article -- but it seemed to me that under that mess that PC left behind, there might have been something actually worth writing about. Permission request[edit]

To make her an 'insufferable arsehole', please? Reasons being her vaccine bullshit and the other nasty, dangerous crap promoted on her show. --Scherben (talk) 16:55, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
