Ramones/mission[edit]
"their angsty lyrics did explore controversial subjects such as solvent abuse and casual violence"
"Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue" and "Beat on the Brat". You have a knack for severe understatement :) Secret Squirrel 21:11, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I liked that. Although, this and hardline are gonna have a hard time surviving a mission-threat if it ever comes up... ħuman 01:14, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- Hardline's cranky enough to survive any mission threat, although it could fail on grounds of obscurity and short-livedness. But I mean, a mix of religious right, animal rights, teetotalism, radical environmentalism, punk rock, and the kitchen sink all at the same time? I remember it came and went quickly and everyone had the same WTF reaction then forgot about it. As for punk, I just read the Wikipedia article and after reading that, there's really no reason to have an article here. Secret Squirrel 02:11, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- We also have Heavy Metal and Goth, they aren't bang on the mission statements but they've been here for ages. Punk could somewhat be defended for the political, sometimes anti-religious nature of it. SJ Debaser 09:49, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- The best way to head off a mission threat is to make the article interesting. It's currently a pretty bland treatment of what is actually a very interesting and lulzworthy subject. Totnesmartin 10:29, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for creating this article (finally)[edit]
I was going to do that, after I stop procrastinating all the time. But I'll stop procrastinating later. The Goonie 1 02:36, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
