There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |

User Account Control[edit]
UAC is actually an important system that allows more people to run as standard users by default until they get a privilege escalation dialog. Without UAC you need to be logged in as an administrator constantly, which means apps are running as administrative by default. While there are criticisms of it, no substantive criticism suggests that it just a frivolous feature designed to annoy the user.— Unsigned, by: Jolux / talk / contribs
