"Lasts Up to 4 Months!" WTF! ГенгисGum disease 08:00, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, after that the quantum magnetism runs down. Or something. --JeevesMkII The gentleman's gentleman at the other site 08:02, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- This reminds me of something that Ben Goldacre bought and he took it to a nerd convention to pull it apart and figure it out. Turned out to be cheap electronic components that weren't even connected to each other. Anyone with an obscene disposable income fancy buying one and doing the same? postate 09:41, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- They look a bit like credit cards (sans-chip) and produce a 3-dimensional field but the magnetic strip must face the person/animal. I don't think you would find anything more than if you cut up an old credit card. Perhaps if someone has lab equipment to analyse the alleged magnetic fields. ГенгисGum disease 10:59, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- I was willing to do an experiment with myself and mosquitoes, but you can't seem to buy mosquito larvae online. When are we going to get to the point where anything that cab be bought will be sold? Stupid unrampant capitalism. --JeevesMkII The gentleman's gentleman at the other site 11:04, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

- The science behind Shoo! Tag
All things are composed of atoms that are mostly electrons and protons. In between the electrons and protons and in between the atoms is mostly empty space, filled with magnetic static, quantum and gravitational fields. The science of voltammetry tells us of the electrical principles of all biological entities. Our research has shown that subtle inductance/capacitance fields (magnetic and static) can have dramatic effects on biology.
The only true measurement in electricity is the voltage and amperage, everything else is a mathematical variation of the two. These calculations are referred to as virtual or mathematical measures. Variations in flow of amperage and voltage give us a way to measure capacitance, inductance and frequency. These measurements reflect the static and magnetic effects of bio-electricity. This is from http://www.northcoastmarines.com/shoo!_science.htm. Will try and find if it's from the Shoo site. ГенгисGum disease 13:55, 12 August 2009 (UTC)- I don't know where to start but A) wtf is a quantum field and B) if any of it was true, MRI would be lethal. postate 14:08, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- There's more.
This is the one product that made us go "Wow!" Developed by two sisters from Texas who worked in the quantum biofeadback industry, the Shoo!TAG uses electromagnetic frequencies to create a protective barrier against pests, such as fleas and flies, simply by attaching the small, dog tag-like piece of plastic to the animal's collar. The magnetic strip on the back of the tag works with the animal's energy field to create a barrier effect that repels pests for up to four months. from http://www.thesafepetshop.com/Testimonials.html. Good review[edit]
http://www.zootoo.com/answers/question_hasanyonetriedshootag Although Miss Bergman is suspicious. I assume you all can figure out why. postate 13:53, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
