There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |
Fighting pseudoscience isn't free. We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with ![]() ![]() |
Talk:Sola fide
So - you live an honourable life, help others, do good and generally make the world/the universe a better place, but do not believe in Christ's execution etc - so go to hell.
You leave the world a worse place but do believe in Christ's execution so go to heaven.
So heaven will contain a large number of 'very unpleasant people' and hell a (possibly larger) number of people whom most of us would be happy to be with.
Summat wrong there. 86.191.125.209 (talk) 12:26, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, that makes so much sense! Where do I sign up for this? --Some random Smith (talk) 19:54, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
- That's a strawman, but I've never encountered an explanation that isn't a strawman even from proponents. Which is why it gets mocked so much as "sola munchkin", or as yet another variation of Pascal's Wager. --65.110.213.68 (talk) 07:55, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
