Entire[edit]

This entire page was copied from Wikipedia. IrreligiousSurvivalist (talk) 20:36, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Seems to be deleted. I got rid of everything but a bare-bones intro, as the rest of it was a red-link farm and templates we ain't got; but the topic seems worth an article here. If I knew the way/I would take you home. 20:41, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
So who are these two people who hold this theory? Where do they mention it? A book? A blog? Tumblr? I think we should be told. SophieWilderModerator 20:24, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
Google returns some fun stuff, such as a short-lived thread at The Forum Formerly Known As BAUT, but I'll leave it to the author to expand.--ZooGuard (talk) 21:04, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
Oh I do love to read a crank theory getting taken apart on science forums. SophieWilderModerator 21:38, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
Jackpot--http://stellar-metamorphosis.blogspot.com/ Roo The crank seems to have assembled his incredible insanity into a blog page. I can't wait to see the nonsense start flowing like a fountain!

In article links[edit]

Roo, why are you putting links in the article instead of references? Trick (talk) 15:07, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

I think it's so they're not mistaken as supporting the point, but instead demonstrating a crazy person making the point? ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 15:14, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Youtube videos aren't great as supporting references, unless you give them a timecode, I guess. The additions do seem to be a little scattershot. Queexchthonic murmurings 15:19, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
(EC)Well, it comes off as messy, and makes the page look like it has no references...but it doesn't seem like a good idea to fix it until Roo is finished, so... Trick (talk) 15:20, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

From brainstar to brainplanet[edit]

This article is ready for bronze - perhaps even silver. What's it gonna take for this article to achieve cover quality? — Unsigned, by: Reverend Black Percy / talk / contribs

Yea I have expanded the shit out of it. ℳinions!!! Ǎssemble!!!Roo (talk) 22:18, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
You sure have; work well done! It's not over yet though - the general writing needs a revamp (for starters). But, big kudos buddy! Th hug.gif Reverend Black Percy (talk) 22:35, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
I just tried to put everything he's been saying on there. Like throwing shit on a wall, something is bound to stick.Roo (talk) 02:32, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
You are an apt analogist, Sir. If you don't mind me asking; how come your mastery of the english language appears supreme on talk pages, yet not so much in the article text? No offense. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 02:36, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
As far as I can see, the only barrier to silver/bronze status is related to the manual of style. Basically, slapping "raw" URLs in the references, rather than titles or other actual useful information is not recommended. Similarly, any repeated citations should use the "ref name" tag. It's a tedious job, but I don't think it can be skipped if this article is to receive its otherwise well deserved brainstar. ScepticWombat (talk) 03:31, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
I've updated two of the citations to illustrate what I mean (number 50.0 and 50.1), although the RW link to ViXra should of course be moved to the first citation from the website. Also, when updating the citations, please highlight which are YT videos and whether they are crank videos or critical videos and if linking to a long video (e.g. more than 10-15 minutes) add a time code so it is easy to verify the citation (think of it as citing page numbers in a book instead of using the annoying "blind" citations). ScepticWombat (talk) 03:55, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
Don't forget to use the oa (open access) template for all the ViXra links. I've updated my example to reflect this initial oversight. ScepticWombat (talk) 04:13, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

"RiffWiki"[edit]

What the hell is even RiffWiki, and why are we linking to them in the article (under "See also")? Reverend Black Percy (talk) 22:56, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

I have no idea. I just found it so I put it here. It seems the stellar metamorphosis page on "riffwiki" hasn't been touched in quite sometime. That is too bad.Roo (talk) 02:30, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
Not to worry; ours is fast becoming the best page on Stellar metamorphosis on the web! Th hug.gif Reverend Black Percy (talk) 02:38, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
