2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

"...while having epileptical-like attacks..." "epileptical"? Does that mean the patient spins round in an elipse whilst having a seizure? LOL Spica 18:11, 28 December 2007 (EST) p.s. I can make those kinds of jokes cos I'm a RN (psych/mental health) ;)

LOL. I think you could only make those jokes if you were an epileptic. Or an epileptic RN. PFoster 18:14, 28 December 2007 (EST)

How do you know I'm *not* an epileptic RN? ;) Spica 18:18, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Could this particular article help our overall mission? Forget about who created it for a second, forget about his agenda -- doesn't it seem likely that this could be useful for something? Either using it to refute something or debunking the claims that go with it (I'm not a doctor, I know jack about epilepsy). Researcher 18:49, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of research about prophets, prophecies and epilepsy, oddly enough. I say scrap it. Spica 18:57, 28 December 2007 (EST)
