Do we have to have a Hitler image? It would be nice to celebrate Darwin's birthday by seeing him without Hitler for once. WėąṣėḷőįďMethinks it is a Weasel 19:53, 11 January 2009 (EST)
- Well Genghis did it so ask him if there is a good reason for it. I was annoyed because when I first saw it not only did I see that picture but the random quote was having a dig a Ken. I agree though we should honour the man not, make points at CP. I would like to believe that this website will out last them and will in fact be better when they are a forgotten old joke on the internet. - User 19:58, 11 January 2009 (EST)
- I've changed it to the "hat" image of Darwin. Apart from removing the Hitler angle, I really like the symmetry of Darwin's and Chimp Che's facial expressions. Wėąṣėḷőįď

- The Hitwin was really put in as a placeholder. There was a very nice graphic in SciAm from the official Darwin Day website (www.darwinday.org) but the site appears to be down at the moment and can't find a copy anywhere else on the web. Take out the Ken thing, it seemed like a good idea at the time but you're right, we should venerate the old dude.
