I wanted to know if anyone can come up with a better image for this uxb? I don't specifically object to the image that is used per se, except that it dimensions badly. How about one of those "snakes and a needle" logo things? Something that is closer to "square" when 45-50 px wide? I guess I should look to see who is using it and send ya'll here to answer, eh? Just DL the image, and crop it in some program and re-up it as 45x45.-AmesG 18:54, 29 May 2007 (CDT)
I normally would, but it doesn't look like it would be very legible after that. But you're right, that would be one approach. humanbe in 19:09, 29 May 2007 (CDT)

Something like this?

Hmm. I thought a picture of ol' Tommy Douglas, the guy who actually managed to institute a universal healthcare system in North America, was a good choice, but I'm willing to go with whatever. I might end up hardcoding the Tommy version on my page instead, and you can put the caduceus in the "official" version. --Kels 19:07, 29 May 2007 (CDT)
Better idea - you were there first. I'll make a User_Universal_Healthcare_Caduseusua one, to suit myself. You should not have to change your page just because I want a different looking UXB. Even though you already did. humanbe in 19:19, 29 May 2007 (CDT)
That's why I said I had no problem with him... trouble is, the photo is kind of oblique. I'm torn between the genuine hero-worship the man deserves and using a more iconographic symbol. How about using a photo of him in an article about UHC? humanbe in 19:09, 29 May 2007 (CDT)
If both you, and you (K and MM) agree, I'd love to change it to that image MM posted here. But only if you both agree it's ok. I could always make my own with a different image, of course. humanbe in 19:11, 29 May 2007 (CDT)
