how long

So, how long have you disliked me? Was it already there when the cratmess was about, or maybe during the multiple discussions about refspace went on.

I haven't, actually.

So, so "Sterile dislikes you" but "you don't dislike Sterile." Really cute.

Truce, then. No "you hate" or "dislike me", even if we disagree?

I assume you're busy (we all get there) but I do hope for a response.

I'm sorry. I used to pride myself on assuming good faith, but I guess that's slowly rotted away. Several users here managed to convince me that disagreements have to be personal, that there's no reason for someone to argue against you unless they dislike your person (cf. my user page). In general, I don't know what to think anymore, but I hope that we can have a good-faith disagreement without getting personal, myself included.

Yeah, the same obsession with the personal angle to conflicts happened in me. The solution? Embrace apathy. Taking everything personally is incredibly taxing. Learn to fear it. Fear the emotional drain, fear the stress, and fear the ungodly amount of work involved in always fighting people. (Your edit rate will drop like a rock once you aren't adding 100 edits towards every HCM, but that's a benefit, not a cost.)

I'm so apathetic that I didn't even realize there were HCMs in progress!

Some of the most apparently apathetic editors used to be some of the most prolific content-wise. But in a sense you're right, Stabby.

Ooh, I'll argue with you without making it personal. (My rates are one pound for a five minute argument and eight pounds for a ten minute argument.)

Well, I guess that's a step in the right direction. Although to set up a disagreement off the bat, it doesn't seem like the best use of a user page.

sterilesporadic heavy hitter17:22, 10 August 2012

to set up a disagreement off the bat Do you mean my user page is setting up a disagreement, or you are? Damn dangling modifiers.

I just wouldn't collect lots of quotes of other users on my page. It ends up defining you in the long run. But that's just me, and you can do whatever you want.
