viewing deleted images without restoring them?

I saw that you mentioned on another user's talk page that it's possible for sysops to view deleted images without restoring them; how would I go about doing that? I tried to figure it out by looking through the deletion/restoration page but I didn't have any luck. Nice talk page format too, by the way. Is that the future for all of us on RW?

Sorry about the double post; I didn't realize that liquid threads was posting automatically and I clicked save again when I didn't see it loading.

If you find the file in question you may see an option to restore it, all you need to do is follow the link and you should have the option to view deleted edits. Though rare, bare in mind that some deletions can be hidden from sysops.
