Article ideas[edit]
- Pollack and EZ water - in progress User:Looi/sandbox
- Satellite Virus, Hepatitis D - it's sort of cool that viruses have their own viruses, and ought to appeal to some as vaguely related to evolution and/or information theory
- A New Kind of Science, Stephen Wolfram - what's up with that? Wolfram's big claims to explain everything in this book seem to be regarded as somewhat overhyped and unfounded.
- the "gyre" theory https://www.livescience.com/18207-crackpot-theory-reveals-dark-side-peer-review.html
- that guy with some original ideas about entropy? I'd have to go to the library to find the name. Not at all significant, just a sad story: guy has some decent original thoughts about entropy, patterns, and order (unfortunately, the wrong way around, common misunderstanding), writes a pop science book. Unfortunately gets into a bit of a Galileo mindset when advised by academic friends to read up on basic physics before joining the debate. Stubbornly does not take the advice, fails to convince the scientific community, feels misunderstood, eventually dies by suicide.
- randonauting - an app with quantum woo and a weird community[1]
- retraction
- sports tape? Seems like a questionable Sport Woo product. Amusingly it looks like the placebo taping pattern from one study has been picked up by users as "The Sham method".
- Muenster rebellion
. Wild story.
