Nice template modification[edit]
Nice "disclaimer" template PacWalker.
Unless someone screams bloody murder, I think that's the kind of polite warning label that I had in mind - perhaps supplemented by a new category (did I mention I like categories? I don't, I really, really, really adore categories! - nah, just kidding). ScepticWombat (talk) 09:31, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you. Any thoughts on the wording? Also, I feel like the blue i and the brain watermark are a bad pair aesthetically; should I maybe ditch the watermark/use another messagebox class, or use some other icon, or am I just being weird? As for the category, umm, what were you thinking for a name? And hidden, or no? PacWalker 09:38, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- I was toying with possibly a combination of two categories for the two examples I mentioned on the CC talk page: Not endorsed by RationalWiki and Zombie editor (Myopic editor? Myopic ZomBot? Woo ZomBot? Something like that anyway).
- The first highlights that their article'ish looks are not to be taken at face value, while the second highlights that these RWers don't contribute anything beyond their own pages - not even essays, debates or comments (by contrast, LogicMaster does at least engage with other editors, no matter how obnoxious (s)he may be).
- As for aesthetics, you're asking the wrong guy. I'm not very "designer-minded" :-) ScepticWombat (talk) 10:17, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- I guess the second of those would ideally be switched... hmm. All right. And I'm kinda going back and forth on whether or not to de-brain the background, so I'll leave that be unless someone comes along and gives aesthetic judgments. PacWalker 10:23, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- The brain seems fine. FuzzyDogPotato (talk/stalk) 15:19, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
