In his book On Origin of the Species Darwin wrote: “ There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed by the Creator into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being evolved (XLIX, 243). --Philip Snow (talk) 21:57, 10 July 2017 (UTC)PSnow: I've already answered the Darwin 'quote' here, & I am not confusing the origin of life on earth with evolution, as both require evolution's blind, chance, accidental processes to cause incredible [& unobserved] change. Nowadays the term 'evolution' is commonly used in book titles for everything from the Universe to Stars, the Solar System to scientists. I can see why you try to avoid the impossible scenario of life from non-life, of course....[despite the types of Miller-Urey experiments that only produced non-living amino acids, & used the wrong atmosphere etc.]— Unsigned, by: Philip Snow / talk / contribs
