Talk:Philip Snow
Poe or no?[edit]
I don't feel comfortable labeling Snow a Poe. He doesn't have that trolling "feel" to him, and could easily be just a self-important, willfully ignorant creationist. It's not like that's terribly uncommon. Anyone else willing to call it? Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 20:35, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- I see no evidence for it. ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 20:46, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- He's changed his views on the Flood. He has gone from claiming the Flood was caused by God (as any standard YEC claims) to now embracing naturalistic catastrophic explanations, in the vein of Georges Cuvier. I don't believe he is a YEC at all, his views would be considered heresy (too naturalistic/anti-God) by any YEC. He is either a parody, or confused. Boglin (talk) 21:36, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to trust Hanlon's Razor and assume he's merely confused. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 21:57, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

PSnow: 'Willfully ignorant'?! Wilfully - correct spelling - percipient.... PSnow: Funny that I never noticed that I'd changed my views that way - please tell me when! Of course I believe God caused the global Flood [although using, vastly exaggerating 'naturalistic' processes], as in my 'The Design & Origin of Birds' book [p 185-189], various articles & many talks. Actually, the opposite is true, because when I wrote the BBC Wildlife 'Creation-Evolution' 'Debate' article back in 1995 I wasn't a YEC, but changed within months on contact with some of the world's many YEC scientists.— Unsigned, by: Philip Snow / talk / contribs

Speciation[edit]
Snow says he now accepts speciation becuase it exists within the Biblical "kinds". DinoCrisis (talk) 17:00, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
