Hello Rwiki2015[edit]

Your contributions to the BX Protocol page are disorganised walls-of-text which are just going to deter people from scrolling down the page and reading the article in full.

I respectfully disagree. It wasn't unorganized. There was one huuuge paragraph that was a big copy/paste from a legal document (interesting, relevant info) but I can understand the unpleasant impact of a huge block of text. I hate it when people don't use paragraph marks but was trying to keep it consistent with what another person did. Rwiki2015 (talk) 16:47, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

The purpose of the article was to alert people to the BX scam, and the con-artists involved, in a concise digestible manner.
The rambling screeds you added were counter-productive: I almost lost the will-to-live attempting to read the paragraph you added on Christian Oesch.

Got ya. Rwiki2015 (talk) 16:47, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

(BTW the house-style of RationalWiki is snark, but there was no humour to give relief in the thousands of words you added).

Got ya. I don't find the topic funny at all. Neither do cancer patients who died. But I see your point. Rwiki2015 (talk) 16:47, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

If you want to write a complete detailed biography of the con-artists involved, what their favourite color is, what side they dress on, the BX Protocol article is not the place.

Maybe, (and only maybe), start a RationalWiki page on Christian Oesch, & include an in-house BX Protocol link.

This is an arena where people have a concentration-span of an apocryphal-goldfish, so you should only include relevant information and present it concisely as possible, in an organised fashion, (e.g. chronological order).

Good way of putting it. Rwiki2015 (talk) 16:47, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Suggestion: make a draft as a word-processor document on you computer, then edit it down ruthlessly* before posting RationalWiki.

Good idea. Rwiki2015 (talk) 16:47, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

[ * if you don't someone else will ]. Guvax (talk) 09:28, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback Guavax. I agree with you. That one big bad block of copy/paste from a legal document was too much for myself too but didn't want to paragraph-mark it to keep it consistent with what the other person wrote... Anyway, you're right. I also wasn't sure if it was the right place for it. The idea started under the picture page where someone started mentioning the lawsuits (with wrong links, still the links there are wrong), and I added some more info to it. Do you want me to correct the links in the picture page which was done by someone else (I think yourself).
Christian Oesch's legal issues are complicated. You mentioned a lawsuit where he sued the government for 27 trillion (what a joke). Of course it got kicked out of the court with judge saying it deteriorated into ramblings. His co-Plaintiff is still in prison. I thought it'd be helpful to provide context, e.g., about the other lawsuits. He was sued by the government. And he also intervened in a Ponzi Scheme civil forfeiture and that was also denied by the court. Also you mentioned his present company. I did some digging and it resembles PX Protocol in some ways. That's why I added that text. But I see your point. Rwiki2015 (talk) 16:20, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Page blanking[edit]

Are you going to just blank the page whenever someone says something you dislike? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 15:28, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello G&GC[edit]

User:Guvax User:GrammarCommie

Thanks for the comment. @GrammarCommie, Guvax didn't say anything I didn't like. He was right. I agreed with him. Are you a RW Admin? What's the problem with a user clearing their Talk page? Is it against policy? @Guvax: I don't have a problem with you restoring the pages, but the links on the picture page have errors. Do you want me to correct them? @Guvax: I understand how you felt about the long block. I didn't use paragraph breaks because it was one big bundle of copy/paste from the public domain legal document. I get your point about attention span. Except for that paragraph, the rest of it was well organized, and some of the lines were done by someone else under the photo page which seems to be the wrong place for it, but whatever. I don't care really. But some of the links in the photo page are wrong and the info is also not accurate. If you want I can correct it in a concise way but it's better this info is in the main page than under the photo page just as you already have some info lines on Smith, the founder of Delta. But again, I don't care. You're the Admin, call the shots :-) Best,— Unsigned, by: Rwiki2015 / talk / contribs

Yes, it's against policy to just blank talkpages without any explanation or reason. No, you did not convey any intent. We aren't able to read your mind and are reliant on your words and actions to form our opinion of you. What your actions and lack of words conveyed was that you disliked the criticism you received. This isn't a hierarchical system, most admins outside of the moderators do not have any major authority, and the Mods themselves are primarily empowered to resolve conflict and not much else. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 15:53, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
Fair enough :-) I just thought, ok, I read it, can now delete it. That's all :-) Rwiki2015 (talk) 15:57, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
