- Nice work so far. Can we take it to the bridge? glad to see you. PFoster 19:02, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- All the IP addresses I've got access to are now blocked by CP, as are all my 7 or 8 sock CP sock puppets. You have to admit that DeanS is an efficient CP sysop. This is more fun than trying to inject facts into CP. The Real James Brown 19:10, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- Oh, I love stories from Conservapedia veterans. Care to divulge the grisly details of their banning? : ) Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 19:13, 8 October 2008 (EDT)

OK ListenerX but could we leave my talk page as it is now? Thanks.— Unsigned, by: The Real James Brown / talk / contribs
First it was boringly predictable: as JimBob61, I got banned for stating that birds are really dinosaurs.
After a bit of a break, I had a quick look at CP, in the form of Googly, saw a link to American History, mistakenly thought I might actually learn something, and was staggered to see that (a) the Vikings never made it to Newfoundland and (b) Andy was citing a paper by someone who was not only not a specialist on the Vikings but wasn't even talking about Newfoundland in the reference cited. I also had arguments with Andy about proof-by-contradiction (another of his weird bugbears), elementary proof and the law of libel in UK jurisdictions, all subjects on which Andy is clearly more expert than I am.
Then, intrigued by the determination of Andy to cling to his pet inaccuracies, I took on the persona of KennyMac. I had another go at the Vikings, tried to correct a stupendously inaccurate page about the history of the Early Church and finally got banned for adding something that I really do know about: an explanation of why Andy's Point 5 in his famous letter to PNAS is incorrect. I got an immediate five-year block for that, which prevented me from correcting Andy's quite staggering misinterpretation of what I'd written. Other CPers complained about that, as they'd found my explanation helpful - and I was, on this occasion, genuinely trying to be serious and helpful.
I got through a few more socks before I nearly ran out of IP addresses but finally, as WaZi (which means sock in Chinese, by the way - no, CP didn't realise that) I corrected a page on the Dark Ages (immediately reverted) and then tried, without success, to correct the crazy stuff about Obama's pronounciation of Pakistan. Finally, realising that there's no hope for anyone who sincerely wants to improve the factual content of CP, I decided to burn my bridges by trying to de-Islamicise the Barack Obama page, for which I got a complete block from Wafd al-Chl'resny himself without even a 'Godspeed'.
Before WaZi got completely banned, however, I managed to infiltrate something interesting, accurate and completely contrary to the ethos of CP (see the second section). I think they still haven't noticed... The Real James Brown 19:36, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- Nice work, but I don't think you're supposed to sign at the bottom of articles. . . :-D weaseLOId~ 19:44, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- If you can get into CP, you're welcome to remove my signature from that page. I can no longer edit CP from any IP address to which I have access. The Real James Brown 19:50, 8 October 2008 (EDT)

Good work on the Schlafly article, fella. I enjoyed that lots. :) --Robledo 19:57, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
I remember the KennyMac incident on CP. It all made sense to me. It refuted Andy's Point 5 quite well. Speakerface keep spinning, FOXholes 06:59, 9 October 2008 (EDT)
Removing talkpage content[edit]
You can not just remove content from a talkpage even "your" talkpage. If you want to clean it up a bit, put it in an archive. We have a template {{talkpage}} to help. Please read the guidelines. - User 20:47, 20 March 2009 (EDT)
