"Tripe" should be here as well, but my wiki skills are not up to complicated things like this. :-(--Bob_M (talk) 06:50, 26 May 2007 (CDT)

Fish & chips, butties, all-day-breakfast, bacon sarnies, saveloys, bangers, toad-in-the-hole, brown sauce, Marmite, Bovril, Watney's Red Barrel. Mad Min 07:54, 26 May 2007 (CDT)
- Does anyone think that it's just possible that we're getting carried away with British cuisine? Wonderful though, of course, it is.--Bob_M (talk) 08:02, 26 May 2007 (CDT)
- There was some persecution of British Cuisine at CP I think it needs to presented in a straightforward and rational manner without knee-jerk reactions. Mad Min 08:31, 26 May 2007 (CDT)
- Very politically correct of you of course - but the "clean slate" directive cuts both ways. British food being no worse than - for example - German food, should not get preferential treatment here because it was badly treated at CP. I think that, at last, our vast army of seriously underemployed sysops should get involved and decide whether British Food really deserves preferential treatment in this way. --Bob_M (talk) 08:40, 26 May 2007 (CDT)
- I wasn't aware of the pogrom against German delicacies over there. If you want to contribute on German Cuisine then I wouldn't hold it against you. (I'll be away from here for a few hours as I've got to pop down to Albert Heijn for some more knabbelbacon.) Mad Min 08:46, 26 May 2007 (CDT)
