Why is this a category when it's already an article? DogP 16:53, 17 March 2008 (EDT)
- Should be called "Cover story" :( human 14:06, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
- I notice RA just decides what to do his own, as usual. Hey, RA, it's a community here, not just you. ħuman 00:08, 5 February 2009 (EST)
- I apologize for the mess. As for "deciding what to do on my own", all that is being changed is the titles of things in order to bring them in line with the established precedent for correct title formats. As such, I do not feel that it is necessary to discuss minor corrections to titles. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 00:44, 5 February 2009 (EST)
- I understand, articles are singular, cats are plural. But when you embark on these giant projects, you invariably leave the wiki in a middle state of being all fucked up. If you involved other people, at the terrible cost of your edit count (or does that not matter to you?), the process would be over quicker and the mess resolved. Please share these projects, many others might like to help - and get them straightened out sooner. In the middle of things like this, the wiki is full of mess, and there are quite a few people, I'm sure, who would love to spend some minutes helping. It's not a "minor correction" if it takes hours of one person's time, dozens of edits, and they don't communicate with anyone else on the site about what they are doing. As I said, dude, it's not just you. There are other people who'd love to help (and some of us who'd like to see things cleaned up faster), if you'd only involve them. CUR, for instance. I bet he'd have jumped at the opportunity to do "something useful". ħuman 00:53, 5 February 2009 (EST)
- Again, I apologize. I really should involve other people more. I especially regret not doing so with this last one, as there were times I wasn't sure how to fix many of the redirects (I didn't screw up the Help:Index page, did I?). As for why I don't involve anyone... it has far less to do with my edit count and a lot more to do with me not wanting to have to argue over what to rename a category. But I've taken your words to heart as best I can, and I'll be making more of an effort to discuss things with others first. - By the way, speaking of changes which take dozens of edits and hours of time, [[User:|]] has just such a project going on which you'll probably want to discuss with him (though to their credit they tried to discuss it before acting). - Thank for the heads up, of course "main" has been on my watchlist since about 00:00. As far as involving people more - it's fun. People like to help, really. Sure, sometimes they argue, but that's fun, too, right? (apology noted, forgiven, and bygones, etc.) ħuman 01:46, 5 February 2009 (EST)
