Oh, look! A headline![edit]

Feel free to clean up my formatting, because I know it's pretty ugly. If anyone is interested, I have an excel spreadsheet containing all the blocks, unblocks, and my statistics. It's a little over 2MB in size. Someone who knows more about statistics or excel could probably get some more interesting data out of it, such as average non-infinite block length or graphs of blocks over time.--Brian 22:01, 10 August 2007 (CDT)

It really makes me sad to see me on the lists of sysops that have blocked. But then I am also on the most blocked user list too.... tmtoulouse persecute 22:05, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
Ha! Number two in both most blocked and most unblocked members (along with others)! I only bow to the mighty Ames!
Okay, seriously, very nice work, I'm quite impressed! Although I'm surprised that so many users are supposed to be not-banned. Where are they all? Or are those accounts that registered and only made 0-5 edits or so back in the day? (No need to reply; mostly my personal musing :P)
Last comments: Looking at the unblock reasons, it's funny and sad to see "making infinite" on the shared second place and "I am prepared to be corrected on this but I could not find a single thing that warranted a block on this user" (back from the first Bible Ban Orgy) on the list of most-used reasons. --Sid 07:09, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
I'm not sure what happened to all the users with no bans, but I wouldn't be surprised if they registered early on, then gave up after only a few edits back before CP's "block first figure out why later" policy went into full effect. It's also possible that the CP block log was altered or disabled at some point, because there are 2 early blocks on 12/7/06 and 12/19/06, and then no blocks at all listed until 2/12/07[1]. It seems strange for there to be almost 2 months with no blocks, so there may be a lot of blocks that aren't recorded. --Brian 10:36, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
The absence of blocks in that time is actually possible. Before the February blog rush, CP had practically zero exposure (to my knowledge). --Sid 10:53, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
Uh... looks like Jallen started to figure out who those couple of thousand dudes are... --Sid 15:05, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
I bet she's just jealous because she's not #1 on the blocking list. At this rate, she's closing in on the record quickly. I guess I'll have to re-run the numbers in a couple of days--Brian 15:11, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

Very nice werk[edit]

I'm taken speling and grammer lesson from Tsah so's I can't do more "qualitee edits" but this page loks fine by me. CЯacke® 00:19, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

Was he merged? CPAdmin1 + ?[edit]

I recall that CPAdmin1 had been sysop under a different name before (though I'm not 100% certain who he had been... Tim XY or so?). Were his names merged, too? Just asking because I just noticed the sysop merger note in the article... --Sid 07:14, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

DanH/MountainDew are the only numbers that I merged. It sounds familiar that CPAdmin1 was originally someone else, but I don't know who. If someone knows for sure, I can update the numbers accordingly.
--Brian 10:28, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
Upon further research, it looks like TimSvendsen became CPAdmin1. Unfortunately, I don't have time now, but I'll go through and update the numbers later. There are also entries for Conservapedia Webmaster and CPWebmaster that need to be merged. I actually didn't merge Niandra and Jallen, because Andy used some kind of feature in MediaWiki that renamed everything Niandra ever did. --Brian 10:44, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

the hundred million year block[edit]

I had to go one better after I saw that, so I blocked Bohdan for 1234567891 months. However, it did not take - when I tried to unblock him (I meant a hundred million nanoseconds not years!) it said he was already unblocked, and he was still able to wandalize edit this esteemed wikiwikiwikiquickly. Just an interesting data point. Great article, by the way! humanbe in 21:06, 13 August 2007 (CDT)

User:Brian made it. (see Conservapedia Talk:Block Statistics#Oh, look! A headline!). I don't know whether he is still around - or interested in doing such things. Maybe you just asks him? larronsicut fur in nocte 16:20, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
